You should note that a mirror coating does significantly reduce the amount of light getting through, which is transmitted better through a paler coloured lens. Another item to note about lenses is that the Police peacock blue lens must not be used if you are driving. This is because through these lenses it is very difficult to tell the difference between red and amber when you are at traffic lights.
